Mehal Shah
Mehal joined Downing in 2016 and is an Investment Director in our Energy & Infrastructure team. He has over 15 years experience in the energy industry, primarily in principal investments. He originates, leads and executes across the technology risk spectrum in solar, wind, hydro, battery storage and anaerobic digestion.
Prior to Downing, Mehal worked at a solar development start-up and thereafter at Centrica plc in its acquisitions and corporate development team.
Mehal qualified in 2016 as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
