Magnus is Senior Nordic Advisor to the Energy and Infrastructure team and Non-Executive Director of the Nordic Downing hydro and wind power assets and electric network. Following an international career at ABB, Magnus was appointed Director-General of the Swedish Electrical Safety Board and CEO of Swedish Electrical Utilities’ R&D Company and Energiforsk. He is an elected member of Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences where he is vice-chair of the Electrical Engineering division.
Magnus holds a Ph.D. in Power Systems Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. For many years, he has been a national expert for Sweden in the intergovernmental International Smart Grid Action Network.
