Jonathan Simon
Jon joined Downing in February 2022 as an Investment Director. He has 20 years of investment experience and is responsible for deal origination, execution and portfolio management across the team's key sector verticals, including: Healthcare, Education, Living and Hospitality & Leisure.
Jon previously spent 10 years at BGF where he was part of the team that helped establish the business. He was responsible for over £100m of investments, leading its consumer focus in the South East, in addition to its broader activity across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. Prior experience includes the principle investments team at Bank of Scotland, where he invested in several businesses with a focus on operational real estate.
