David Vernon
David joined Downing in April 2024 as Head of NSIP Projects to lead the planning process for our pipeline of Development Consent Order scale solar energy projects. Before joining Downing, David was a Partner and Head of Infrastructure Consents at Carter Jonas and brings more than 20 years of experience in project planning processes. In addition, his previous experience also includes roles with Network Rail and National Grid and he has worked across the UK and Australia. He has worked on achieving consent for nationally significant infrastructure projects since 2008.
