Dan joined Downing as Head of Institutional Solutions in January 2026. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including senior advisory and fundraising roles in the UK and Australia. Prior to joining Downing, Dan was a Partner and Head of Infrastructure Project Management at First Avenue where he managed the fundraising lifecycle for several prominent global asset managers. Previously Dan led investor relations activities for Hastings Funds Management, attracting new capital from a wide range of investors globally. He has also held roles with ARA Asset Management, Equity Trustees Limited and Goldman Sachs International. Dan holds a BSc (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton.
